FibriTech on a Journey to Redefine Construction Materials
FibriTech has developed an IP-protected forming technology that leverages the natural bonding power of hydrogen bonds. While its application has been successful in eco soils and packaging materials, expanding into the more complex construction materials sector posed a challenge. To address this, FibriTech collaborated with EXEQ to devise a funding strategy for this transition. Together, we aligned their innovative approach with the requirements of the EIC Pathfinder Challenge: Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Digitalization opened in 2023.
EXEQ's Role in FibriTech's Pathfinder Challenge Proposal
FibriTech envisioned advancing its technology to the next level, and EXEQ played a crucial role in aligning these R&D plans with the Pathfinder Challenge requirements. Our responsibilities included validating all formal aspects of the proposal, completing the necessary sections, and advising on partner selection. Working in a collaborative co-writing process, EXEQ also moderated the proposal development, ensuring clarity and alignment with EIC reviewers’ expectations. This partnership helped FibriTech present a compelling and well-structured proposal.
EXEQ Drives FibriTech's Pathfinder Grant Application
EXEQ collaborated with FibriTech to develop a strategic approach that aligned its innovative idea with the expected scope of the funding call. Based on that, FibriTech engaged key team members and secured partners with relevant expertise in material testing to support the critical transition from manual to computational material design. By highlighting FibriTech’s strengths and defining the required research activities, EXEQ transformed these insights into a compelling grant application submitted in 2023.
